President-elect Akufo-Addo Condemns The Post-electoral Violence In Odododiodio And Techiman

Well meaning citizens have been condemning the needless attacks and deaths that characterized the 2020 election.

The president-elect of the Republic of Ghana has waded into this discussion and condemned the acts outrightly.

“I condemn, in no uncertain terms, the isolated incidents of post-electoral violence in Odododiodio and Techiman that led to a few regrettable deaths”, President Nana Akufo-Addo, who was declared winner of the poll, said in his victory speech on Wednesday, 9 December.

“May their souls rest in peace”, he consoled, adding: “We must work to avoid the repetition of such events in future”.
