We are not signing any Ghanaian artiste – P-Square

Square Records, record label of Nigerian music duo, P-Square has refuted reports that the label is on the verge of signing Ghanaian artiste, Predy X Gtwo.

News vent viral earlier this week that the label, which parted ways with its only signing, May D, some months ago, was about to sign the young Ghanaian artiste who is yet have an album to his credit.

Square Image Associates, Publicist for P-Square said in a statement that there is no iota of truth to the story and that it has been fabricated to acquire attention.

Since May D, who featured on the duo’s smash hit Chop My Money with Akon, left the label, Square Records has not signed any artiste till date.

Below is the statement:

Our attention has been drawn to a false claim that the publicist of Square Records said that the respected record label have plans to sign a Ghanaian artiste. We want to use this medium to say that there is no iota of truth in the fabricated report.

At no time did any representative of Square Image Associates (P-Square’s Publicist) or Square Records speak to anybody about any artiste in Nigeria, let alone Ghana.

The report is simply the handiwork of some lazy amateurs, whose intention is to get undue attention by spreading baseless information. Members of the public and fans of P-Square are hereby advised to ignore the rumour.

Thank you.
