Outspoken Ghanaian Lawyer, Maurice Ampaw, has declared that he will personally campaign against the sitting president, John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2016 general elections in Ghana. The lawyer made this declaration on Neat Fm, a local radio station in Accra, when he was reacting to the Presidential pardon that was granted to 3 gentlemen who were sentenced for threatening some supreme court judges.

Lawyer Ampaw further stated that in addition, he was embarking on a 10 day hunger strike to protest against the decision by the President to grant pardon to the 3 men who were sentenced. He has vowed to do anything within his power to help to unseat the President since he has set a bad precedent with the action he has taken.
