LISTEN: Awal Apologizes To Sarkodie In ‘Prodigal Son’ Song

Budding artiste, Awal Mohammed of Talented Kidz fame recently released a single dubbed ‘Prodigal Son’

In the song which is already receiving massive airplays, Awal is heard expressing his love for his ‘father’ who had supposedly offended.

He goes on to ask his ‘father’ to pardon him of all his faults.

However, fans of the budding artiste have read meanings into the song. According to them, Awal’s message is an indirect apology to rapper Sarkodie.

Awal was like a ‘son’ to Sarkodie, and to Awal, Sarkodie was like his ‘Godfather’ in music.

But just about a year ago, the relationship turned sour between father and son.

According to reports, both were having bad blood due to Sarkodie’s failure to sign the young rapper to his record label, Sarkcess Music.

But with his new track, fans of the BBF hitmaker are of the believe that Awal wants to make up with his ‘father’.

They therefore descended on him in a live video on Facebook to find out the truth.

In clearing the air, Awal stated contrary to what his fans are alleging.

He disclosed that “prodigal son” was released to help mend the relationship between sons and fathers. Especially those who find it difficult saying it.

To Awal, the song is to help people apologize to their fathers especially when Fathers Day is just some few days away.

Meanwhile, ‘Prodigal son’ was produced by Caskeysonit and its also on the Gringo riddim.
