|Former ace presenter of Channel R, Agyemang Prempeh, affectionately called Agyengo has now moved to Rainbow Radio which started its programs a couple of weeks ago.
Agyemang Prempeh, who has been touted as one of the controversial radio presenters, left the shores of Channel R some months ago with fans asking where the radio gem was heading to.
Many were the people who called the offices of your most reliable Flex newspaper to find out about the whereabouts of Agyemang Prempeh.
Because we wanted to feed our readers with true and factual stories, it was not long until this reporter heard his voice on Rainbow Radio 87.5.
When Flex newspaper contacted Agyemang Prempeh who doubles as Manager of Magyengo Dancers, he had this to say: “Well, Glory be to God, my stay in Channel R was not bad at all and I will always be grateful to them, for at least, they gave me the platform to exhibit my God given talent and through that I had some shine. As it is always said, at all times man must move on,” Agyemang stated.
Asked whether he will host another entertainment program on Rainbow Radio, he said “Oh, all I will tell you about your question is stay tune and very soon, people will hear from me. All I can tell my fans is that they should pray hard for we are not fighting against flesh and blood,” Agyengo added.
Known not to shy away from controversies, Agyemang Prempeh, who was the former host of Channel R’s 205 Entertainment Review until he left the North Dzorwulu-based religious station, was so influential in the entertainment industry of Ghana and so his exit from radio raised many eye brows.
Many believed he was the right replacement for DJ Abio who also left the show amidst tough competition across the radio circles, but Agyengo was able to hold the fort until he left the program.
Under his watch as the host of the 205 Entertainment program on Channel R, he took the program to the next level which earned him applauds by most tabloids in the country.
He was also nominated in the Best Entertainment Show On Radio category during the maiden Radio and Television Personalities Awards.
