Angry Ghanaians insult John Dumelo for defending Mahama

Angry Ghanaians have taken Actor John Dumelo to the cleaners for daring to defend the President over his ‘abysmal’ performance in recent times.

Ghanaian movie star, John Dumelo, urged critics of President John Dramani Mahama to get off his back and give him time to solve the challenges facing the country.

“We should just give him [Mahama] time to solve the problems, the problems are there but it’s four years, Rome wasn’t built in a day… and if after 2016 the problems are not solved then we know what to do,” Dumelo said.

Dumelo, who campaigned for President Mahama ahead of the 2012 elections, stressed that the President needs help and not criticism to solve the challenges in the country.

He said: “We should just give him [Mahama] time to solve the problems, the problems are there but it’s four years, Rome wasn’t built in a day… and if after 2016 the problems are not solved then we know what to do.

“But I think a lot of people are putting pressure on him and it’s not as if he doesn’t want to solve the problems, he does so we should just give him time”.

This comment from the actor did not go down well with some Ghanaians who have taken to social media to give various replies to him.
