Becca set to release new single, ‘Steady’

Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Acheampong, known on stage as Becca, is set to release her new single ‘Steady’ across the continent this Saturday, June 27, 2015.

The singer confirmed the release of her latest track on her Instagram and twitter pages.

The song is a follow up on previous releases such as ‘Tell Me’ which featured Sarkodie, and ‘Lover and Friend’ which featured Trigmatic.

The song, which has a dance themed beat, aims at contemporary listeners across the continent who have a greater appreciation of her music genre.

Nigerian hit maker, Ice Prince’s rap on the song does help to make the track much more interesting while offering great fluidity on the song.

The track and its music video will be released on the Tigo Deezer platform.

Steady is produced by Kayso and serves as the first single from her highly anticipated third studio album.

It’ll be interesting to see how this fares on the charts given how solid the record is.

Becca in an interview said, “I hope it’s a song people can listen to and let the music do what it’s meant: to be steady, stay grounded and just take a minute to dance and feel good.”
