Beef Alert: Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy’s Endorsements Of Infinix And Techno — New Competition?

Since students of life have made it clear that life itself is dynamic and never static, it’s then not unsurprising to see people adamant to changes. One ought to keenly admit that there are some decisions we take in the circles of life which may forever live with us.

I feel that Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr aka Shatta Wale and Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy, are seriously fuelling their rivalry at our blind sight! Whether the fan bases choose to believe it or not these stars are pretentiously getting along because of their unresolved case at the Ghana Police Service over the incidence that led to Stonebwoy pulling a gun on the Vodafone Ghana Music Award stage. To keep themselves in the good books of the Police Force, they are trying all they can to stay afloat. Their main aim now is to be of good behaviour to prevent any further charges from the security apparatuses.

Following Shatta Wale’s recent rants on Snapchat, everything points to the fact that he isn’t okay with how things are going with regards to the authorities warning celebrities to stay off any ambassadorial deals with alcoholic beverage companies and betting entities.

For now, it seems only Wendy Shay and Shatta Wale have openly registered their dismay in the pronouncements from the said authorities. This is one of the reasons why Shatta Wale is tagged as a hard guy capable of changing the music industry and its ‘Adamic status quo’.

Taking another twist, Shatta Wale as an ambassador for the Infinix phone brand and Stonebwoy’s recent endorsements of the Techno phone brand may also be a probable catalyst for serious future beef. Believe me you that I really enjoy the in depth rivalry between these self-acclaimed Dancehall Kings in the Ghanaian musical circles. Even though none of these stars is jabbing the other in all the numerous social media posts to promote their respective smartphone brands, their fan bases may be heckling each other soon because of the already perceived rivalry between them.

But, on a more serious note, was there even the possibility of both artistes signing up with one smartphone brand like they both once did for NAM 1’s Zylofon Music Production (or whatever it was or is called)…?

Well, as a matter of urgency, I might start tracing the performance indexes of these smart phones (Techno & Infinix) in recent times to see which of them is actually leading the other. I think this might be another way of checking who amongst the two is the biggest and most influential since the recently held AsaaseSoundClash failed to unravel that as we were all expecting.
