President Akufo Addo has ordered that all Ghana’s borders be closed from midnight Sunday.
” All our borders, either on land, sea or flight would be closed down for 14 days starting midnight Sunday” the president stated.
It would be noted that 16 out of the 19 cases are imported ones, hence the need to take measures to prevent people from coming in.
The president further stated that anyone who comes in after Sunday midnight would undergo mandatory quarantine and be tested against the coronavirus.
Cargo and goods are however exempted from the closedown. So it is expected that apart from goods, nobody would be allowed to either enter or leave Ghana for the next two weeks.
Are you prepared enough to observe the regulation?
