BREAKING: KNUST DECLARED A SECURITY ZONE.

One of the leading universities in Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been in the media for all the bad reasons recently.

A letter signed by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah sighted by Ghanashowbiz.com shows that the university is still a security zone and not all activities can take place there.

“The attention of the Regional Security council has been drawn to the celebration of the 2019/2020 Hall Week of the various halls of residence scheduled for the period of 26th February to 11th April. It is the expectation of the regional security council that the students are reminded that the declaration of the university as a security zone is still in force and must be observed” he wrote in a letter addressed to the vice chancellor.
