Dont release singles-OJ

Renowned musician Michael Oware Junior aka Minister OJ has admonished his fellow musicians to desist from releasing singles. He explained that singles help artiste to get shows to perform but not make money from disc sales. He also said that its better to release an album rather than a single. in that way people buy disc with the intention of listening to several songs rather that just one song. He also said most people wont buy a disc with just one song and personally he wont buy a disc with just one song. OJ said that an album makes money for an artiste in a long term rather than a single.

OJ said from personal experience an artiste has more benefits when he release an album during the interview he mentioned that he doesn’t blame artiste because its difficult to get an executive producer to help release an album. he also said that after releasing several albums then its more difficult to get an executive producer. the reason being that the producer wont get any money because the songs have been released as singles and has no value in the market

finally he said that its his personal view and he wont force any one to comply with his believes. He is simply sharing his experience with fellow artiste and the upcoming ones.
