Frustrated graduate teacher threatens to curse Minister For Education – Napo

Social media users can recall that some members of the 2016 – 2018 year groups of the Unposted Teacher Trainees and University graduate teachers had vowed to sleep at the premises of the Ghana Education Service (GES) sometime back till their grievances were attended to and true to their words they did that.

With mattresses and bags, and prepared to sleep overnight, the furious group vowed only to go back home if their grievances were readily solved.

Though some of their colleagues were arrested for inciting violence at the premises, they remained unperturbed and resolute, even about the supposed ‘threats’ from the police.

Their frustrations stemmed from the fact that most of them had satisfied all the conditions that the Ministry in charge of education put in place such as duly completing Colleges of education or Universities and offering Education-related courses, completing the one-year mandatory national service, writing and passing the NTC license exams and applying online.

An extremely enraged graduate trainee has threatened to curse the Minister in charge of education for refusing to post him and his colleagues after having all the requisite details.
