“I Attended Prempeh College With A Scholarship” – Chairman Wontumi Clears The Air

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly called ‘Chairman Wontumi’ in a widely viewed interview with Paul on Metro TV’s ‘Good Evening Ghana’ has reiterated that Prempeh College is his alma mater.

Over the years, Ghanaians have questioned Chairman Wontumi’s claim of being an alumnus of Prempeh College because of his bewildered struggle in speaking the Queen’s Language.

Stressing on his school days at Prempeh College, Chairman Wontumi told the host that he didn’t pay for his three years stay at the school because he was on a scholarship.

“You can ask my mates, I was a good student at Prempeh with a scholarship. Everybody knew me back in the days and how I loved my studies”, he added.
