Controversial dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has taken to his social media handle to reveal that he has received $50,000 dollars from Youtube today.

The self-acclaimed dancehall king in Ghana who has been quiet for some time now has resurfaced claiming he received 50k  from Youtube.

Although the ‘ayoo’ hitmaker failed to state if it is a monthly payment or yearly payment, many believe that he can earn such amount as his videos on the platform have been receiving huge viewership.

Some months ago, there were statistics that indicated that Shatta Wale earns more money on youtube than any other Ghanaian artiste.

His monthly worth according to a research is estimated $864-$13.8k.

Shatta Wale taking to his snaphat handle wrote:

“$50k FROM YOUTUBE JUST TODAY”
