Iwan terminates contract with bulldog

imagesReggae artiste Abdul Razak Issahaku known in showbiz as Iwan ‘the lyrical gunshot’ says he terminated his contract with ‘Bull Haus’ entertainment owned by Nana Asiama Hanson also known as Bulldog because he felt cheated.

Iwan said though Bulldog is a good manager when it comes to production, the he did not pay him his worth whilst he recorded with his outfit.

“Bulldog wasn’t paying me, he can’t pay me, I had to pay him because he was my manager, when the money comes in. He is upfront, he gets the money and does the necessary splitting and after splitting the money, the percentage that comes to the artist is not fair at all.

“If I don’t do music there’s no money coming so if after all that the money comes in I have to get a little chunk of the money and the greater aspect goes to the management then I have to feel cheated”.

In an exclusive interview on Hitz FM’s Entertainment This Week with Mzgee, Iwan revealed that his former manager bulldog was a dictator who couldn’t be trusted with money.

“In this world, money is not everything but when it comes to money and you try to cheat your godliness will vanish. I find it difficult to endorse Bulldog because when it is money, everybody should have a fair share of it because it is business and the artiste makes his money.

He said he would still be with Bulldog if he listened to his complaints and addressed them.

Iwan’s accusation comes days after Nii Soul, another artiste who worked under same management (Bullhaus Entertainment) allegedly describe his Chief Executive Officer (Bulldog) as the worst manager.

However Bulldog in response to the allegation, advised that artiste read and understand the nitty-gritty’s of every contract they sign, in order not to blame the managers afterwards.

“You read the contract, you accept and then we move on.  Bulldog says he is going to give you one percent for your entire intellectual property and everything, now you can easily sit back and say the one percent is not good but when you were singing for the one percent did Bulldog have a gun on your head?”, he quizzed.
