KURT OKRAKU SUCCEEDS KWESI NYANTAKYI.

The Ghana Football Association went to the polls as early as 9:00 am today.

After various brouhaha such as the disqualification of Wilfred Kwaku Osei, popularly known as Palmer from the Ghana Football Association presidential race and his subsequent law suit, the presidential debates followed with a lot of battling of ideas by the five contenders who were able to make it to the debate.

After all these, the elections have finally come to an end with Kurt Okraku declared the winner after three stressful rounds of voting.

The Chair for the Normalization Committee declared Mr. Kurt Okraku winner with 93 votes representing more than the required 50% plus one.

As the President-Elect for the GFA, Mr. Kurt Okraku thanked all and sundry for the confidence the voters have given him. He further promised to elevate Ghana’s football to a surprising horizon.

Well, the football people have spoken and Mr. Kurt Okraku succeeds Kwesi Nyantakyi.
