Licensure Exams – NTC Pleads With The March 2020 GTLE Candidates For More Time

The Novel Coronavirus pandemic has indeed impeded on the normalcy of life in every corner of the world. Some qualified teachers who had registered to write their licensure exams in Ghana have had their dreams shattered as a result of this COVID-19 issue.

But, the Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has admonished all prospective candidates (graduate of Education related courses from all tertiary institutions in Ghana) who registered for the March 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examinations (GTLE) to exercise patience.

According to the NTC authorities, their outfit is still working assiduously towards the decision(s) on their examination.

It added that the authorities will at the right time come out with the necessary plans for the way forward.

As of now, the officials of National Teaching Council (NTC) have unveiled that all trained teachers/graduates who passed 2019 Ghana Teacher licensure examinations and are currently serving their mandatory National Service will have their induction programme from tomorrow; Monday, June 8 to the second week in July 2020.
