However, Lil Wayne refuted the claims through a video stating that he was fine and that his fans should disregard any other reports. A Facebook page was created in 2016 to commemorate the life of the then supposed dead artist. Within a couple of minutes, the page had amassed over one million likes, and the news was shared to millions globally. Fans even shared their condolences and stated how they would remember Lil Wayne. Nevertheless, some were skeptical about the authenticity of the reports and chose to wait for official communication from close friends and family or Lil Wayne’s team. None of the mainstream media outlets aired the story making it even more unbelievable.

The cause of Lil Wayne’s cancer was the numerous tattoos found on his body. Further, the site claimed that the multiple award-winning rapper is a heavy smoker and drinker.

The stories about Lil Wayne suffering from cancer are all fabricated. In fact, the website that broke the news just redid the story that was doing rounds on the internet some years back. If true, are there supporting documents or has the artist officially spoken about it. Otherwise, you may find yourself sharing or retweeting stories that are not fake. Plus, most of this celebrity may want to keep some things such as health private. So, even if they are sick the only way to verify it is to ask them personally which is very difficult.
