Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero, an Argentine professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has severed his ties with the club.

Spurs have never won the Premier League since it was founded in season 1992–1993. Their best finish is second place in 2017, behind Chelsea.

Most fans of the football club have taken to social media to express their shock since the same coach almost handed over UEFA Champions League Cup to them last year (1/6/19 against Liverpool) but for the two goals they conceded in the finals.
