Nigerian Stars Boycott Scheduled South African Shows

Tiwa stated “I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason i will not be at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st September. My prayers are with the victims and families affected by this.”

This announcement by Tiwa has made her win a lot of hearts out there as people to turns to shower praises on her for that move on twitter.

Comedian BasketMouth on the other hand also announced he will not be attending the Comic Choice Awards scheduled in SA this weekend. He made this announcement via his Instagram account.

“I am not sure how and when we got here. I wont be attending the Comic Choice Awards this weekend in S.A as scheduled. It might seem like but together our voices and the right actions will hopefully make a true difference and real change can begin. But for today we stand.”
