Paying Tithe Has Nothing To Do With Success or Failure – Kafui Danku
Some tenets of religion have become debatable by many who deem it fit to question whatever they aren’t alright with.
Popular actress, TV/ radio personality and socialite, Kafui Danku has added her voice to the issue of payment of tithe and how some pastors present their case all the time.
She posted;
***A male friend I met on a movie set years ago called this morning. We became closer because I introduced him to a former friend of mine who visited me on set and they had a thing or 2 😜.
He called this morning to inform me about his new property he acquired in one of my neighbourhoods…He wants to let me to know we’re neighbours now ; maybe indirectly telling me he has arrived lol… which is ok 🥳🥰.
I’m so happy for him so we got talking about the past, people we know etc.. and finally religion and tithe paying amongst others.
He made a shocking statement which I find a bit confusing .
He said he started making GOOD MONEY when he STOPPED paying tithe and “sewing seeds “🤔.
How can that be ?
I remember going to a church someone invited me to and the pastor made this statement: “ IF YOU DON’T PAY YOUR TITHE, YOU’LL BE TIGHT “.
That was the first and last time I ever set foot in that church.
I don’t like listening to manipulative, coercing and selfish statements especially from pastors.
I believe more in helping needy people and being kind and loving generally.
I use to pay tithe on and off so I was a bit disturbed when he said that.
So here’s my question:
1. Does paying tithe guarantee success /prosperity?***
What is your take on this?
