Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang thumbs up for now

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has allegedly agreed to join Barcelona and even tried to force through the move, according to reports from Spain.

Aubameyang has been heavily linked to Barcelona in recent months with the Gabon international to enter the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract in the coming months. Could the move sail through?

And Spanish outlet Sport says that the 30-year-old actually came close to leaving in the winter window.
They say there was contact between Aubameyang’s representatives and the Catalan giants following a long-term injury to Luis Suarez sometime back.

The Arsenal forward is said to have given the idea of a move to the Nou Camp a thumbs up and that he even tried to force a departure by all means.

The Premier League club were unwilling to lose their top goalscorer mid-way through the campaign although Sport says a deal could be done if certain conditions are met.
