Pitch Invader Hits The Jackpot…

Awal, ‘the pitch invader’ finally meets Thomas Partey.

The trained nurse who hit the Cape Coast stadium during the South Africa vs Ghana AFCON qualifiers is in the news again.

It could be recalled that he was kept in custody for two count offenses but was released on bail later due to the pleas from the populace. Even though he is yet to be charged officially, he was welcomed as a hero to his domicile.

When he was quizzed at the police station as to why he invaded the pitch, he honestly admitted that he did that in order to have a picture with his favourite black stars player – Thomas Partey.

Awal has finally met Thomas Partey and he has taken that dream picture that he was yearning for.

We hope his case doesn’t escalate to something serious.
