Black Stars Coach – CK Akonnor has just announced his squad for AFCON 2021 Qualifiers against Sudan.

Quick Observations:

Kojo Amoako (AshGold), Habib Mohammed (Kotoko) and Richard Attah (Hearts) get debut callups.

Eugene Ansah (Hapoel Raanana) and Tarik Fosu (Brentford) also get debuts.

SALISU MOHAMMED:

CK Akonnor on why the Valladolid defender was not called up: “I could not get in contact with him [in time].”

Says they couldn’t get him to come for the last game vs South Africa. Pledges to keep working on getting him.
