Aside from the heated beef between Strongman Burner and Kweku Smoke, there’s another which has gone off the boils. This new beef revolves around three prominent musicians in the country, namely; Elom Adablah aka EL, Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie, and Odartei Milla Lamptey aka Gasmilla. In fact, it’s actually El and Sarkodie against Gasmilla.
A few weeks ago, Sarkodie tweeted for support from all other artistes to support the rekindling of Azonto into mainstream music. This is because the BET winner felt that Azonto had died or gone cold as compared to other genres like RnB, Dancehall, Highlife, Reggae, ‘Rap’, and so forth.
EL responded to Sarkodie’s call and the duo claimed they had had that convo already.
In reaction to the aforementioned gist, EL and Sarkodie released a new track dubbed, “Revival”. Check out the track below:
EL – Revival ft. Sarkodie
Well, Gasmilla has poopooed on the idea that Azonto was dead in the first place and has mounted lots of interview platforms to blast Sarkodie for claiming to be the originator of Azonto. Extremely peeved Gasmilla who tips himself as the genuine inventor of Azonto has argued that his creation or invention was never dead as Sarkodie is alleging.
Watch Gasmilla explain himself below:
Reacting to the whole fuss, EL has condemned Gasmilla for his jabs directed at Sarkodie’s intended move of reviving Azonto. See his tweet below:
