The majority leader and minister for parliamentary affairs, Hon.Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has advised former president John Dramani Mahama to report himself to the nearest police station for investigations to be done into the airbus scandal.
The majority leader in an interview with City Fm monitored by Ghanashowbiz.com said, although the court ruling in both the UK and USA did not explicitly mention names, deductions have shown that the Government Official 1 the UK referred to and the Individual 1 the USA referred to is John Mahama.
” At the time the issue came to Parliament, I was the minority leader then, and we raised serious concerns about it. But at the end of the day the majority had their way” he said on City FM’s Point Blank show.
Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah justifying his point said Mahama was Vice President and later became president during the time and may be able to well assist investigation.
