Roselyn Ngissah Wins Celebrity Cooking Contest
 Ghanaian actress Roselyn Ngissah is GHC10, 000 richer.
The actress beat colleague actors Adjetey Annan, James Gardiner, Gospel musician Philipa Baafi and Poka, winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2013 in the Batter Battle organized by Lintex and TV3. The competition dubbed Batter Battle, celebrity edition run for several weeks and saw various celebrities with no knowledge in baking bring out their baking skills by baking varieties of pastries and bread over the weeks. Roselyn Ngissah came first in the Pizza category, 2nd in Cupcake, first in deco in Cupcake, first in Cake Decoration and was ultimately adjudged the overall winner in the finale. |

The winner, Roselyn Ngissah wins a GHC10, 000 winning bonus to help her work on her current de-worming project. Adjetey Anna came 2nd with 3rd, 4th and 5th positions being won by Philipa Baafi, Poka and James Gardiner respectively. Speaking after being crown champion, Roselyn Ngiisah thanked organizers and stated the money will boost her ongoing project which she co-partnered with an NGO , Berry International. The other participants received GHC 2,000 as consolation prices aside products from Sponsors and partners of the programme. |
