Having a fruitful career as a Ghanaian celebrity is one of the most difficult responsibilities one can ever think of. When the name celebrity is dropped on your persona as a Ghanaian, there comes a certain burden which must be contained and/or eliminated for so long before everything is finalized later.
It is worth noting these so-called celebrities come into the scene only to stay irrelevant and lose their affluence within the shortest possible time. If we were asked to name some people who faced such predicaments, names like Mr. Eventuarry, Hon. Aponkye, Bosom P-Yung and others come to mind. But, can we blame them at all for this? Is it their fault that Ghanaians have decided to do away with their craft now?
Well, Wendy Shay is gradually tripping unto the same pedestrian. This is evident in how she is trending for all the wrong reasons — especially after she unfollowed all her followers on Twitter. And what makes it more interesting and controversial at the same time is the fact that she claimed Beyoncé did same and nothing negative happened to her brand. So she sees herself as the next biggest artistes in Ghana. Dreaming is good but it must be noted that realistic and achievable dreams ought to be the hallmark under all circumstances.
