The sport presenter took to Facebook to bemoan the encroachment of public space by market women and the reaction from the general public after the authorities sought to sanitize the system.
Saddick’s post lamented;
***Anyone who plies the Amasaman-Pokuasi stretch would have taken notice of the brazen encroachment of traders at the Amasaman Station. They have taken over the pavements selling all sort of foodstuffs which results in serious gridlock at that section.
This week the MCE tried to clear them from the place to ensure order and free flow of traffic.
The traders demonstrated against him. One woman said she has 6 children so where does the MCE expect her to sell and feed them.
The media gave them audience and even ended up on the side of the traders insulting the minister.
Yea. We that.***
