Secluded Amnesia Within Judgemental Societal Settings – C. A. Asante Writes
Most often than not, several decisions result from our actions and inactions within a specified era. Within any spectrum of endeavor, man, invariably, tries to opt-out of opprobrium and dive into issues that could cement his entity out of predicaments.
As unlikely as things might sound, unfortunately, we undeniably twist the same modus operandi in carrying out decisions that can be a lifesaver shortly. Undoubtedly, in this new technological era, one can never underestimate the impact of most netizens who command a lot of views within few minutes of going “live”. On Facebook, Snapchat, IG, and all other social media avenues, there has been a new phenomenon that has been dubbed “selective amnesia” by all and sundry. In order not to sound pessimistic, every Tom, Dick, and Harry might’ve heard of how people applaud others chastising “some groups” while the same issue could not be said about entities who hold dichotomous views in almost every altercation. Could one man like Twene Jonas, for instance, make any changes? No!
As a social media user who could fall in the addictive category, looking at these peeps who label themselves as loyalists, it is likely to comprehend the rationale behind whatever decisions they so take. Blaming them for doing anything contrary to what they could have done, is simply fantastic and genuinely rare! After all, they owe us nothing and vice versa!
