(VIDEO): I was nearly assassinated in Kumasi – Prophet Owusu Bemapah

The controversial man of God, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Chapel, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has narrated an attempted assassination on  his junior pastors and himself in Kumasi yesterday.

Speaking in his church on Sunday, the pastor said he was invited to the 70th anniversary of T.I Amass which he is an alumnus  of in Kumasi. ” I was called by my seniors to come to the program which I was not aware of, so I went there very ate” he said.

He further explained that, because of the funeral of the late Kumasi Mayor, Akwasi Agyeman, all hotels in Kumasi were full and he decided to sleep in his car. While in his car, he was listening to Sarkodie’s song with Yaw Sarpong  ‘Ahobrease3’ and all of a sudden he saw that they were surrounded by armed men.

He said, his boys immediately pulled their guns and they indulged in exchange of shots for minutes til they people took to their heels.

“They  are contract Killers. One of my boys nearly killed three of them but my intervention. I told him to stop shooting at him and fire a warning shot instead. But next time if anyone tries me, I will kill him” the pastor said.
