Prophecy of doom has become the normal trend in Ghana over a period of time now. The most popular doom prophecy was the one given by Prophet Nigel Geisel of Prophetic Hill Chapel about the death of Ebony Reigns and it came to pass sadly.

Electoral prophecy is also rampant among pastors who either prophesy about victory or loss for presidential and/or parliamentary candidates in both NPP and NDC.

The Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah who claims to have prophesied about the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease and its devastating effect has also made some shocking prophecies in the past.

Popular amongst Rev. Owusu Bempah’s prophecies was that of the death of any running mate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama chooses. This prophecy is six months old since he gave it in December, 2019.
