WHO DO YOU THINK COMMERCIALIZED AZONTO?

A few weeks ago, Gasmilla and Sarkodie got their fans fighting over who really invented Azonto or pushed it both in Ghana and outside the shores of the country.

Azonto has two facets – looking at it as a music genre and also, labelling it as a dance move. With the dance moves, it took over the country way back with the unique way of twisting the hands, waist, bending over while making gestures of driving, ironing and so forth.

The musical genre also has a special rhythm and sort of flow (the sound engineers know what I mean) and other stuff that sound very appealing to the ears.

So, who actually made Azonto that big?

Was it Gasmilla, Guru, Sarkodie, Fuse ODG or Stay Jay?
