Wiyaala rejects $15000 Glo Ambassador deal

Reports trickling in yesterday indicated Stonebwoy turned down a brand ambassador deal worth $80000 from Nigerian mobile operator Glo, according to Zionfelix.com, Wiyaala, a multiple award winning songstress from the Upper West of Ghana has also refused a brand ambassador offer made by the multi-billion dollar telco in May.

Wiyaala, who currently charges around GHC 15000 for a show including her band, said that it was no surprise that the $15000 offer, which was worth less than GHC 1000 a week and came with strings attached was rejected.

According to a reliable informant, Glo’s conditions proposed that Wiyaala could not perform at any event sponsored by a competing telco, that she would charge half price for any shows performed on behalf of Glo and whilst she would travel first class on Glo assignments, her manager would travel economy class.
