Yvonne Okoro Turns Down Mercy Johnson Deal

Actress Yvonne Okoro has turned down a proposal to work with Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson, after news hit the stands last week that for the first time, the two were about to appear together in a movie.

NEWS-ONE could not confirm why Okoro turned down the proposal.

However, sources hinted it was as a result of a disagreement she had with the production house, whose name is being withheld for now.

Okoro, last week, refused to confirm or deny if she was acting with Mercy for the first time.

But sources said she had a script, with Mercy Johnson as one of the lead cast.

Both Yvonne and Mercy have never been cast together. Yvonne Okoro made her screen debut in 2002 with ‘Sticking To The Promise’ while Mercy Johnson made hers in 2004 in the movie, ‘The Maid.’

Currently, they are two of the hottest actresses in Africa and are exceptionally skilled in role interpretation.
