Fireworks to rock Mirror Ball this Friday

The end of the year is here again. This time it has arrived even quicker than ever and what a blessing it is that the world did not end! If only the Mayans knew of this Friday’s Mirror Ball they would have asked for an extension on their 2012 calendar. A busy year it was with an African cup of Nations, an Olympic games, the death of a President and hotly contested election.

This Friday, 21st December, 2012, the Mirror Ball will be the best get away for those of you who wish to treat yourselves to something special.

Themed “Fire & Ice”, the event will complement the festive season as
ladies come in sizzling hot red attire while the gents balance it out with cool white. The colours are a perfect match for the traditional Xmas festive season and this should have the Damba 3 Lounge at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel packed with discerning party elite from across the globe.

This is a chance to celebrate all the good things that have happened in your life in 2012 in the company of old friends and inspired by the great tunes of the yester-years.

The Mirror Ball is a unique platform where mature and trendy folks can unwind from the stress of the hectic month. “Traditionally we have two events in December as we expect a surge in the number of people who love old school music. “Hundreds of Ghanaians and visitors from the diaspora will stream in to enjoy the world class ambience and two events takes care of the craving” said Edwin Baffour, a member of the organizing team.

A mixed CD will be given to the first three hundred guests as a Xmas special old school treat. “Those of you who attended the mammoth event last year should still have the CD spinning in your stereos but this second edition will be another keeper to help you dial up your favourite musical age” said William Nanka-Bruce aka DJ Blow.

A special year end event on December 31st will also be held at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel with fireworks and a bonfire to light up the New Year in style.
