Afia Schwarzenegger urges lonely women to be bold and propose to men.

In our African cultural setting, it’s somewhat a taboo (forbidden gesture) to woo a man as a female because the practice is done the other way round.

Since time immemorial, emotions have escalated from men to their chosen females and not the reverse. But, in this 21st century, everything is just possible!

There are records of men who have been approached by women for a romantic encounter. Such instances, even though minimal, is not seen as normal in our African cultural background.

Popular comedienne and philanthropist, Afia Schwarzenegger has waded into the possibility of women going after men that they feel for. She made this clear on her Facebook page when she opined that women should be bold enough to approach, convince and/or propose to men of their taste.

In the western world, it’s nothing new but in Ghana, such women may be seen as something else.
