Archbishop Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle struck with Coronavirus

The Greater Accra Roman Catholic Church has called for prayers for Archbishop Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle today after he announced his COVID status.

The respectable man of God has been undergoing treatment from the Ga East hospital for the past 5 days.

In a statement sighted, the church called on all its members to pray for the priest.

Let us continue to pray for the speedy recovery of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, Most Rev. Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle, as he is actually going to through COVID 19 Treatment at the Ga East COVID Care Centre.

He admonished that “Covid is real and let us be religious in our observation of the health protocols. God helps those who help themselves. I bless you. I miss you all. I hope to join you soon. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes. COVID-19 is real. We can overcome it in the unity of focus and purpose. Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes, Health of the Sick and Comforter of the Afflicted, pray for us.
