Asantehene of the Asante Students Union of UG implores Government to intervene in the aggrandizing of the COVID -19 personal protective equipment Prices

Barimah Amoako Kyeremateng Agyarko 1st, The Chief of Asante Students Union at the University of Ghana has voiced out his displeasure with tremendous increment of sanitizers, gloves and nose masks in the Country.

According to him, the Government should charge those selling at such pricey amounts in the Nation with product worth Gh¢10; now been sold in the vicinity of Gh¢ 100, as a means of capitalizing on this virus at the expense of others. He urged them to refrain from it because when they are unable to afford, the disease won’t evanescence and spread with ease and quickly.

He believes, it is time to offer support to all and sundry at this critical moment, to help eradicate the Coronavirus and prices should be cheesy to make it possible for anyone to afford it here and should stop their rapaciousness.
