Ashanti Regional Police Receive Two Vehicles to Support COVID-19 Operations.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah has handed over two Nissan pickups to the Ashanti Regional Police Command to assist in Covid-19 operations.

The brief ceremony took place at the premises of the Regional Administration in Kumasi.
During the handing over ceremony, the Regional Minister stated that the vehicles were donated by Zoomlion through the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources to be given to selected institutions, with the view of helping to fight against the spread of Novel COVID-19.

The Minister also donated three pickups to the Ghana Armed Forces at the same ceremony. After the said encounter, COP Mr. Kwasi Mensah Duku, the Ashanti Regional Police Commander assured all and sundry present that the vehicles will be put to good use to accomplish the intended purpose.
