Come on lift your voice and worship.
That’s how three-time Grammy Award winner from America, Donnie McClurkin starts his famous Praise Is I Do song and  he would get thousands to sing along with him when he performs it at the MTN Ghana Stands In Worship concert scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Donnie McClurkin is only one of the giants of worship music  billed to perform at the show graciously put together by MTN and which will be hosted by Imajin Advertising and Rev. Bernard Blessing’s His Song Ministry.

Cecilia Marfo, No Tribe, Mary Ghansah and Miriam of MTN Hit-Maker fame will be there as well as Uche Agu from Nigeria and Mthunzi  Namba from South Africa.

Donnie McClurkin is a fairly familiar name in Christian music circles in this country. His intensely uplifting songs are known to many. For some, it is his Live In London and More album that sweep them off their feet all the time.

Others see his Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs album as a classic and the We Are All One: Live In Detroit album and others mean a lot to some fans.

Singer and preacher Uche Agu made a big impact with his famous Double Double song. He is among a new breed of worship leaders that travel the world with inspiring music.

Mthumzi  Namba  is a pastor, singer, songwriter and music producer. He has been at the forefront of the introduction of contemporary gospel sounds in South Africa.

A music degree holder, he is well-known in his native South Africa for songs like Cover Me, Wena Kholwa, Mercy, Laduma Izulu and The One I Love.

MTN Ghana sources have indicated that the telecoms giant sees the upcoming concert as a chance to bring a wonderful worship experience to lovers of excellent Christian music.

‘We have consistently spared resources for such type of concerts because we know they mean so much to our millions of customers and others who like to get close to God through music,’ an MTN official said.

The MTN Ghana Stands in Worship Concert  by MTN Ghana is supported by UniBank, Janaam Car Rental,  Exquisite Decor and refreshed by Coca Cola and Special Ice Mineral Water.
