Captain Planet and Uche Ofodile secretly marry Friday

 Captain Planet, leader of music trio, 4×4, has married Uche Ofodile, former Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana at a secret wedding Friday.

Although it was meant to be a secret wedding, Myjoyonline.com gathers that the lovebirds tied the knot at Uche’s house Osu, Accra.

Captain Planet, born Jeff Sylvanus Dodji, last year proposed to the bubbly corporate executive after dating her for about two years.

Captain Planet, after the proposal, told Myjoyonline.com last year that “it was her birthday so I wanted to surprise her. I proposed to her with a white gold and diamond ring which is very expensive so you can imagine what the engagement ring will be like.”

Friday’s secret wedding which was strictly by invitation was attended by family, close friends and some celebrities.

Some of the known figures at the wedding, Myjoyonline.com gathers, include Sandra Ankobiah, Zeal of VVIP, Benny Blanco, Fresh Prince of 4X4, and Ruddy Kwakye.

Myjoyonline.com has learnt that couple will be ‘jetting’ outside the country for their honeymoon.

Uche recently resigned from Vodafone and according to reports, she will be picking up a new appointment in South Africa.

Captain Planet, answering a question on what the impact of her move to South Africa will have on their relationship, told Myjoyonline.com that the move will not affect their strong bond in any way.
