Coming soon: New single to thank Sarkodie | Awal Mohammed

Teen rapper, Awal Mohammed will Wednesday release a new single titled, Thankful.

The song features Fortune Dane and is dedicated to rapper, Sarkodie who has been supporting Awal’s education and career. The Hand-To-Mouth rapper has been Awal’s god father from day one and assisted him to release two hit songs: “keep feeling it” and “Bone Ben.”

Sarkodie also gave him the opportunity to perform on major platforms like “Ghana meets Naija” and “Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).” Sarkodie didn’t stop there but went ahead to finance his senior high school education.

Awal has also been living with Sarkodie for six years now. They still live together as Sarkodie is still throwing more light on his music career. Hence the decision to record a new song, “Thankful” to acknowledge his god father for all he has been doing for him. Awal is also thankful to TV3 Network for coming up with Talented Kidz reality show which gave him the opportunity to meet his mentor Sarkodie.

The song produced by Fortune Dane, who is an artiste Awal Mohammedand the producer of Sarkodie’s Hand-To-Mouth hit song. It will be released Wednesday.
