COVID-19: Boris Johnson Names Son After Doctors Who Saved His Life

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA, popularly known as Boris Johnson, and his fiancee Carrie Symonds have named their newborn son after the doctors that saved Johnson from coronavirus.

Boris Johnson had tested positive for Coronavirus a few weeks back and was taken to the Intensive Care Unit of the St. Thomas Hospital in Central London where he was put on oxygen.

On Saturday, May 2, it was announced that their son has been named WInilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.

The baby was born Wednesday and was given the middle name Nicholas in honor of two doctors who treated Boris Johnson.

“Wilfred after Boris’ grandfather, Lawrie after my grandfather, Nicholas after Dr. Nick Price and Dr. Nick Hart – the two doctors that saved Boris’ life last month,” Carrie Symonds posted on her private Instagram account Saturday.
