(COVID-19): NSS personnel, NABCO officers start leave with pay today

The National Service Secretariat has announced that with effect from today, March 26, 2020, all National Service personnel and Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Officers should undertake a mandatory leave with pay.

The leave according to the Secretariat in a statement issued on Tuesday March 24, 2020 will end in April 2020.

The statement added that Nurses who are yet to start their National Service are also asked to stay home for the whole of April.

This leave, the statement added replaces the terminal leave granted all Service Personnel during the last month of their service.

Personnel will be paid during this period as it is the NSS Secretariat’s way of helping in containing the Coronavirus pandemic.
