Davido Releases Screenshots Of His First Chat With Mayorkun Before Signing Him
Popular singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently released a screenshot of the first conversation he had with the then budding artiste, Mayorkun in 2016 on social media before considering to sign him onto his record label, DMW.
This comes a few days after Mayorkun shared a video of himself singing along to a song he worked on with his boss, Davido.
The DMW boss then reposted the video and he mentioned that he is thankful to God for the day he found his signee.
Per the flow of chat in the screenshot, it is clear that Davidoaccepted Mayorkun to sign him unto his label without knowing him personally.
He met him on social media, asked him to send him his songs, and requested his WhatsApp number so they can continue with the conversation because he was interested in his songs.
It is not yet known why he shared that screenshot but his caption discloses how emotional he has become.
