Dream come true: CK Akonnor made Ghana’s national team coach.

CK Akonnor has been officially appointed as the Head coach of the Black stars..

Charles Kwablan Akunnor is a former Ghanaian international footballer. He has played as a versatile midfielder, mostly in Germany. He was the head coach of Asante Kotoko for nine months from 2018 to 2019. (Source : Wikipedia)

For now, CK Akonnor is the substantive coach and, David Duncan, will be acting as the assistant.

Management of GFA were at the Jubilee House to seek final approval from the presidency.

This is a dream come true as a local coach is replaced with another local coach.

Ghanaians have always yearned for a local coach instead of a foreign one.

We are hoping for the best as he accepts his new challenge.
