Even If Coronavirus Chase All MPs, Parliament Can’t Shut Down – Speaker
Many Ghanaians are debating on various social media platforms as to whether some vital sectors of the economy should be shut down or otherwise.

The Coronavirus pandemic has stalled almost all normal activities across the globe since most institutions have shut down.
In Ghana, some media outlets reported about absenteeism in the Parliament House due to fears of contracting COVID-19 since some Members of Parliament have been infected.
Addressing the issue, Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Rev. Aaron Mike Oquaye has ruled out any possibility of the legislature shutting down as a result of the pandemic.
It’s an open secret that many institutions including the Ministry of Finance and COCOBOD have had to halt operations as a result of most staff testing positive for Coronavirus.
