Flashback: Watch what JJ Rawlings had to say about Supreme Court election petition

In the middle of the ongoing trial at the supreme court of Ghana, a petition brought to it by former president John Dramani Mahama challenging the declaration Jean Mensah made on the 9th December 2020, we sought to look for old videos on the views of some people.

One of the videos we found interesting was that of former president Jerry John Rawlings at an occasion in Tamale a few months after the 2013 election petition ruling.

The former president praised Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and John Dramani Mahama for conducting themselves well in the interest of the peace of the country.

He also eulogized Justice William Atuguba for upholding the integrity of the judiciary.
