The “Ashikele” hit maker, George Jahraa on Works & Happiness with DJ Ohemaa Woyeje in an exclusive interview September 8th insisted he never engaged in weed smoking. The skeptical Ohemaa maintained in her subsequent questions the notion that the artist was a “ganja” member.

Ohema: You have dark lips?

“People take my hash attitude to life to be a reason for which I should be labelled a weed smoker, in fact I inherited most of my features from my mother particularly the lips. My mother had a dark lip” he stated.

Ohema: What would you consider a Moral Booster being it women or smoking substance..etc?

 “Interesting question, it has always been my daughter “Sophia” who inspired me. Many other events also contributes to my music creation, even this conversation plays a role in it. I have never smoked weed”.

Ohemaa: Who would you choose Shatta, Sarkodie, M.anifest etc?

“SHATTA, SHATTA my son, his demeanor is exact reflection of my young days. He is definitely my choice. The …… the….. Shatta Movement” Jahraa said.

Asked if he is still doing music the artist had this to say, “I took a break from music and can now confirm my return. expect new songs in shortest possible time, hopefully after the main election. HIP-LIFE IS NO HIP-LIFE WITHOUT GEORGE JAHRAA”.
